Rio Carnival Balls, 2009 & 2010

The Carnival Balls are an important part of the Rio Carnival celebrations. There are countless Balls throughout the city--- some of which are held at very exclusive venues and private clubs for members only. These huge celebrations are filled with creatively costumed revelers and lively music. Firm details on the list of yearly Carnival Balls open to the public or foreign visitors are usually not determined until approximately one month before each particular event.

IMPORTANT!! A ticket is not guaranteed until prepaid in full. Entrance tickets are simply that and do not include table nor refreshments. Table and private “Boxes” may be available for purchase at additional costs. Fancy costumes are not a requirement except at certain Carnival Balls. Check when purchasing.
